T-MAX

Magnets

Magnets are used in plastic processing machines such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and film applications to capture iron particles mixed with plastic, ensuring the safety of screws and barrels.

These magnets can be placed on the feed hopper of process machines, under the lower hopper of drying devices, or directly mounted on the machine throat to provide control at the end point.

The design of T-MAX magnets does not obstruct material flow and prevents blockages caused by iron particles, especially in hot runner molds. This minimizes production loss and increases efficiency.

There are different magnet models:

•Natural magnets: Made from the raw material known as ferro, they have a magnetic strength of 2000-2200 gauss.

•Neodymium magnets: They have magnetic strengths of 5000 and 10000 gauss and maintain their initial magnetic strength for many years without being affected by temperature.
