During plastics processing, raw materials or crushed plastics may need to be mixed together and prepared for the process. This can take the form of mixing different plastics together, mixing masterbatches or additives, or mixing crushed materials.

Mixers are used in the plastics industry to obtain homogeneous mixtures of crushed materials, original raw materials and additives such as masterbatches and to prepare them for the manufacturing process. Thanks to the steel auger built into the body, the mixers guarantee the highest mixing with the “spiral mixing function”.

One of the most important features of mixers is to provide homogeneous mixing and for this purpose, the design of the mixer is of great importance. There are two different models that mix horizontally and vertically in mobile mixers.

Mixers with capacities of 300 kg and above are generally designed as vertical and stationary. For particularly large capacities, the following options are available:

• BIG BAG hopper + additional control
• Pneumatic unloading valve + control
• Maximum level control + lamp + audible alarm
• BIG BAG side filling spout and manual valve

The mixers are made of 430 stainless bright sheet metal, have a long service life and are manufactured in accordance with CE norms. There are safety switches on all covers.
